What is an NFT?

NFTs (Not-Fungible-Tokens) are digital objects of various types that are unique to each other, characterized by the ERC-721 (ETH) code, such as a work of art, a 3D object, a magazine, etc. While some NFTs have monetary value, others connect owners to communities or can even be worn digitally. They are uniquely authenticated by a blockchain and can be purchased with crypto-currencies.
